StatisticalFracture is a software responsible for the statistical analysis of the existing fractures in a reservoir. The software is capable of calculating the average values for the dip, the dip direction, the number and the spacing of fractures. The results can be represented graphically by Unit (layer of the reservoir grid), by Face (lithology type), by Type of fractures and by Family of the fractures (defined by the user). It is also possible to perform the statistical analysis along the trajectory of a well.
The diagrams (pole, dip and dip direction) are plotted to assist in the study of cases. The software can represent many statistical results because it allows the selection of a subset of its elements (by Units, Wellsor Type of fractures), considering only the selected elements in the analysis.
StatisticalFracture is part of FRATURAS3D project, developed in a collaboration between Tecgraf and Petrobras Research Center (CENPES).
This software is developed in C/C++ programming languages and uses IUP and OpenGL development frameworks.
The picture below shows the statistical results of two wells in reservoir.
