WHO WE ARE

Mary and Sarah began their tutoring careers in 2005 and have since helped thousands of students raise their SAT and ACT scores. We are each specialists in our respective areas; Mary teaches reading and writing, while Sarah focuses on math and science. In addition to teaching and tutoring, we’ve also trained new SAT and ACT teachers, created course books and curriculum, and analyzed the structure of dozens of tests. Moreover, we are both credentialed special education teachers who have taught in public schools for several years.

WHAT WE ACCOMPLISH

Due to our substantial knowledge of test content and our ability to individualize instruction, we can help college-bound students raise their scores by significant margins. We also know how to determine whether the SAT or ACT is more appropriate for a given student. Many companies have a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to test prep. We know from years of experience what works and doesn’t work for each individual student, and how to apply instruction in a way that builds confidence and skill. Most importantly, we love what we do and are passionate about helping each student succeed!
