About the 2026 Award:
The Annual Linda Witt Memorial Award is an award that is presented by the Irondequoit Service Unit to one girl and one adult who demonstrate the qualities and characteristics of Linda Witt. Nominees must be registered Girl Scouts within the Irondequoit Service Unit (SU610) during the 2025-2026 Girl Scout year. Anyone may submit a nomination for a girl or an adult; the deadline for submission is 02/25/2026. Each winners’ troop will receive a $50 grant from the Service Unit, to be used exclusively for Girl Scout expenses. Additionally, each winner’s name will be placed on the Linda Witt Memorial Plaque in the Irondequoit Town Hall. Each winner will receive a recognition of the award for them to keep (specifics of this are still to-be-determined).
Please consider nominating someone and pass it along to other members in your troop and encourage them to nominate someone. The form only takes a few minutes to complete!
Thank you,
Meg Stoffel
