  • Post Earthquake Environmental Damage Evaluation of the region affected by the 26^th January 2001, Kachchh Earthquake of Gujarat (World Bank, Funded).

  • Natural Resource Mapping for vegetation cover, cropped areas, geological and hydro-geological of Kachchh using Digital Image Processing (DIP) & GIS based information handling for remotely sensed and other collateral information with extensive ground verification (Funded by an NGO – Abhiyan - SDC).

  • Vegetation Cover Mapping of Banni Grasslands using Digital Image Processing for the preparation of Forest Working Plan (Department Forest and Environment Funded).

  • Mapping of groundwater resources of Kachchh for sustainable development planning and management using MCE based on geology, landform and hydro-geological parameters.

  • Assessment and evaluation of threatened groundwater resources – the virtual lifeline of Kachchh based on hydro-geological aspects.

  • EIA/EMP for proposed Salt works project of Adani Chemicals Limited and carried-out landuse/landcover mapping using Digital Image Processing and GIS techniques along with the study of geology and water resource components.

  • State Environmental Action Program (SEAP), under the themes of “Desertification and Ranns”, and was responsible for the analysis and the interpretation of climate, water resources of Kachchh (World Bank Funded).

  • Sustainable Development Planning for Environmental Protection of Kachchh based on water, soil and socio-environmental components and was responsible for the study and analysis of climate, water and soil resources of Kachchh (Ministry of Environment and Forests, Funded).

  • Nation Wide Grassland Mapping Project in collaboration with Space Application Center (SAC), Ahmedabad (Department of Space, Funded).

• • Groundwater Exploration and standardization of groundwater exploration techniques in the chamba region of “Garhwal Himalayas” by involving indigenous knowledge base and ethno-botanical evidences.

  • EIA for the “Baphlamali, Panchpatmali & Kutrumali – East Coast Bauxite Mining Project” in Orrisa.

  • Solid waste disposal project at Lucknow (as part of ganga action plan, phase II) to workout the channel-ways of the waste flow, either to final dumping or to recycle; and predict the proportion that gets into river Gomti.
