The Ipswich Special Education Parent Advisory Council,

(Ips- SEPAC), is an all-volunteer group of parents of children with disabilities in Ipswich, MA.  As mandated by Massachusetts law, we provide feedback to the School Committee and the School District on special education programs and policies, as well as participate in their planning and development. The Ipswich SEPAC also serves as a liaison between parents of students with special needs and the school committee and school district administrators.

We advocate for special education programs in Ipswich by "advising the School Committee on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students with disabilities and meeting regularly with administration to participate in planning. development and evaluation of special education programs."

•We facilitate insights sharing and inform parents on the special education process.

•We hold workshops and trainings regarding rights, Individual Education Plans, and further topics that impact our exceptional children.

We support each other!
