He was Born in 1977, Perú. He received his Master degree in Software Engineering, with maximum distinction (Summa cum laude), from University of Tarapacá, 2010 Chile, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, with public congratulations (Summa cum laude), from National University of San Agustín, 2014 Arequipa - Perú. He was recognized for his contribution in the field of computer science at the National University of San Agustín.
Dr. Cristian Lopez is, currently, full-time researcher professor at the University La Salle and part time professor in computer science at the National University of San Agustín. He is founder and Head of the Research Group IPRODAM 3D (Image Processing and Data Mining), and he is, also, member of Peruvian Society Computer (PSC) and Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA).
PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Zurich (since 2019) and an early-stage researcher in the EVOCATION innovative training network. He has received his MSc in Computer Science from the Federal Fluminense University, Niteroi - Brazil (2017). Prior, He has earned his BSc in Computer Science from the National University of Saint Augustine, Arequipa - Peru (2014). His research interests focus on real-time ray tracing, geometry processing, computational geometry, geometry deep learning and shape analysis. Also, he's interested in algorithms, data structures, graphs, and parallel programming.

His research interests are geometry processing, computational geometry, shape analysis, computer graphics, virtual reality, and deep learning.
