Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association (IPPA)

The Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association promotes cooperation in the study of the prehistory of Asia and the Pacific region and maintains ethical standards in prehistorical research. Its antecedent was originally founded in 1929. It was termed the Far Eastern Prehistory Association from 1953 to 1976, after which the name was changed to Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association. It maintains scholarly communication through regular congresses, communications, and the IPPA Bulletin.
