THE DESCENT OF MAN – from being Paradise-worthy to being Hell-bound

Charles Darwin, in his book THE DESCENT OF MAN, admits, “Many of the views which have been advanced are highly speculative, and some no doubt will prove erroneous; but I have in every case given the reasons which have led me to one view rather than to another.”

This reminds me of the Qur’aanic Verse 6:116, ‘And if you obey most of those on the earth, they will lead you astray from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjecture and they do nothing but guess.’

So Darwin followed, as per his own admission, ‘nothing but conjecture’ as the Qur’aan rightly predicted centuries before he built his castle of make-believe. He was himself, moreover, aware that parts of his ‘castle’ were bound to be blown over as thin air. And yet, by and large, the intelligentsia lapped up his entire edifice as nothing but the truth, and are thus led astray from Allah’s Path. They have, most of them, turned into hard-core atheists. And they have led the gullible public also, in their hearts, away from Him!

And the Qur’aan is proved right! Because, it does not speculate – it relates facts, as commanded and witnessed by its Author Himself!

Darwin states, “The main conclusion here arrived at, and now held by many naturalists who are well competent to form a sound judgment is that man is descended from some less highly organised form. The grounds upon which this conclusion rests will never be shaken, for the close similarity between man and the lower animals in embryonic development, as well as in innumerable points of structure and constitution, both of high and of the most trifling importance,- the rudiments which he retains, and the abnormal reversions to which he is occasionally liable,- are facts which cannot be disputed.”

The Qur’aan, on the other hand, has never said man is descended – in other words, evolved – from any other living organic form, as Darwin apparently speculates without any verified or verifiable proof or evidence. It has always said that man is a created being – consciously created by the Creator first from dust [He ordered Adam, “Be” and he was! (Verse 3:59)], and then as progeny proliferating from a single being (Verse 4:1).

As I said, Darwin’s concluding speculation of man being a descendant of a lower form of living being, is neither verified nor verifiable! The evolutionists have ever been on the lookout for the elusive missing link between the highest form (whatever it be) in the animal kingdom and ‘man’. After all, a monkey or a chimpanzee (or whatever) cannot evolve itself directly into man. Where are those intermediate forms, whose number ought to be innumerable if the ‘naturalists’ are to be believed? As per their theory of ‘the survival of the fittest’, those innumerable forms could not survive! Well, at least one of those ought to have left behind its fossilised remains to provide a badly needed proof for the survival of the god-damned theory. The non-discovery of any such remains is a conclusive proof that the theory is erroneous and false. And yet, Darwin had the temerity to say that the grounds upon which his conclusion rested would never be shaken! The close similarity between man and the lower animals, cited by him as herein above, has gravely misled him into formulating his false theory because, the thought of a Super-intelligent Single Being consciously creating man as well as those lower animals is sheer anathema to him! The similarity should obviously be there because all of them were created by the same Creator. The similarity as a matter of fact provides an undeniable truth of the Creator being the same. So, going by Darwin’s own reasoning, his theory falls flat as utterly erroneous. There is no escape, therefore, for the intellectuals to grasp at the only other alternative of a Solitary Superhuman Creator creating the entire Universe and everything therein.

“He who is not content” Darwin writes, “to look, like a savage, at the phenomena of nature as disconnected, cannot any longer believe that man is the work of a separate act of creation.” In other words, Darwin says that only a ‘savage’ could think that man’s is a separate creation – separate from the creation of lower animals like monkey, chimpanzee etc. Darwin’s unmistakable verdict on all those who do not believe in his theory of evolution is that they are all savage! Can anyone be more mistakenly egoist?

A further quote from The Descent of Man: But since he attained to the rank of manhood, he has diverged into distinct races, or as they may be more fitly called, sub-species. Some of these, such as the Negro and European, are so distinct that, if specimens had been brought to a naturalist without any further information, they would undoubtedly have been considered by him as good and true species. Nevertheless all the races agree in so many unimportant details of structure and in so many mental peculiarities that these can be accounted for only by inheritance from a common progenitor; and a progenitor thus characterised would probably deserve to rank as man. It must not be supposed that the divergence of each race from the other races, and of all from a common stock, can be traced back to any one pair of progenitors.

Darwin here had almost concluded that all mankind had a common progenitor; but, then, as an after-thought, added there was more than one pair of progenitors. The Qur’aan, as in Verse 4:1 quoted above, categorically states that mankind had a single progenitor. The Negro and the European are both fundamentally the same in their basic structural composition; the differences in skin colour and in appearance are not due to any ‘natural modifications during the process of evolution from one species to another’ as Darwin seems to suggest. Those differences are consciously and intelligently effected by the all-knowing Creator to distinguish one person from another, or one regional race from another. But for Darwin, all those who say so are savages.
