Diary

Starting with the AGM and members' day in September or October, there is a monthly indoor meeting with guest speakers on a wide variety of subjects, usually, but not always, with a botanical theme.

Then from around April onwards there is a programme of outdoor field trips, mostly at weekends, with some midweek, and one evening meeting.  There is also a chance to go further afield on the annual weekend away.

Please note;- Anyone attending Inverness Botany Group meetings or field trips does so at their own risk.

Anyone wishing to attend a summer field trip should contact the co-ordinator on the phone number provided a few days before the trip.  As the co-ordinator may need to get in touch about any last minute changes to the parking arrangements or venue booking is essential.

The meetings from November 2023 to February 2024 will only be online via the zoom platform.  The final meeting of the winter will be at Smithton Free Church, 1 Murray Road, Smithton IV2 7YU follow the link for a map.  Map to venue  This is a joint meeting with the Botanical Society of Scotland.  That meeting will also start at 7.30pm and is free to IBG and BSS members with a small charge of £2.00 for non-members.

If you would like to book a place at any of our online zoom meetings this winter, then please click here.   IBG members don't need to pre-book and the link to the zoom meeting will be sent out to all IBG members, and those pre-booked, a few days before the meeting.
