A recent piece "Lost City Buccaneer ~ a Pisces Masquerade"
Thoughts were linked to a section from T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land":
IV. Death by Water
'Phlebas the Phonecian, a fortnight dead,
Forgot the cry of gulls, and the deep sea swell
And the profit and loss.
A current under sea
Picked his bones in whispers. As he rose and fell
He passed the stages of his age and youth
Entering the whirlpool.
Gentile or Jew
O you who turn the wheel and look to windward,
Consider Phlebas, who was once hansome and tall as you.'
I managed to complete this image over the weekend "Mirror Gazing ~ telekinetic combustion"....thoughts connected to experiments Bill & Brion did at the Beat Hotel with mirror gazing....
For the sake of the picture, I smashed up a real mirror into pieces ~ then photographed the fragments in different light perspectives, before 'throwing' the glass onto the picture to add a random element...a full moon outside at the time - so maybe eerie side effects in store for me....
