A short description of our school...

We are a large secondary and vocational public school, called Institut Narcís Xifra i Masmitjà, in the city of GIRONA, which is 100km away from Barcelona.

There are 1600 pupils and 170 teachers in our school, and we deliver secondary compulsory education (250 students), vocational studies (1200 students) and the Batxillerat (150 students of pre-university course).

When the students get the Certificate in Secondary Education, they may stay in our school in order to pursue further studies.

We deliver three different “batxillerat” programmes: Science and Technology, Humanities and Social Science; and three different VET and higher education specialities: electricity and electronics, personal appearance and health care.
