20th Century man in a 21st Century world

Ok so let's see how hard it is to service a modern car.

I'm going to save myself a lot of money by performing the 30,000/2 years service on my Hyundai i30 CRDi myself. Want to see how I did it?

Remember -because I'm not an authorized service centre I've voided my warranty - but why is that? Didn't I do it right?

What you do is up to you, I'm not responsible for your actions, if you don't know what you're doing - take it to a mechanic.

Engine oil Shell Helix Ultra Extra 5 litres AU$52, oil filter AU$26, Brake fluid AU$9, Fuel filter AU$42, Air filter AU$30, oil disposal AU$5, coolant change isn't actually required till 5 years (even though the service passport says 2 years) Fuel system treatment is another scam, any additive needed is in the fuel already. Total = AU$164

Cost at the dealer AU$600
