Project Wins the Access and Inclusion Award
Congratulations to the Hospitality Certification Program (HCP) for winning the Indianapolis Mayor's Advisory Council on Disability’s Access and Inclusion Award for Employment!
The Hospitality Certification Program promoted the inclusion of people with disabilities who experience homelessness by providing training and employment services that help people who engage in the community. Individuals receive training in 13 types of jobs in the customer services and hospitality industry.
Over 80 employers have hired at least one program graduate. Through this process, people with disabilities who are homeless build their self-esteem, obtain stable housing, find a fulfilling career, participate in community life and follow their dreams.
