Allyson Holbrook holds her fourth degree masters belt in the World Tang Soo Do Association. She started training in 1998 at Buckeye Tang Soo Do (a RecSports Club at the Ohio State University) with Master Simone Genna and Ms. Leslie Flaum. She earned her first degree black belt in 2001. In 2002, after graduating from the Ohio State University, she moved to Chicago where she trained with Master Michael Inoshita and Mrs. Holly Inoshita and taught adults, youth, and children as a class instructor at Elmhurst Tang Soo Do. In 2004 she was promoted to second degree black belt and in 2005, she was named the Dan of the Year for her teaching and mentoring contributions. In 2006, she returned to central Ohio and resumed training and teaching at Buckeye Tang Soo Do. In 2010, she was promoted to third degree black belt. In early 2013, she founded her own studio through the World Tang Soo Do Association – In Neh Martial Arts. In 2018, she was promoted to fourth degree master. She is a certified instructor through the World Tang Soo Do Association and her personal philosophy of teaching is to bring Tang Soo Do to each individual in a way that they understand and value and to build a sense of community and fellowship among students.
