Club Nights

This year Mairangi Bay Badminton club is operating out of Kristin College while the BNH facility is being rebuilt after the floods on 27th January.

When: Sundays

Time: 10am-12pm

How to get there: Enter the school via gate 1, go left and the Gym is on the right by the Gravel carpark.  See the pictures on the left.

What happens at Club?

Our club session is $10 for everyone and is a great way to commence your involvement with the club. All you have to do is turn up and make yourself known to the club night controller.. The computer system will automatically select games, usually mixed/doubles, that give everyone the opportunity to play against (and with) people from a range of abilities.

Beginner Badminton courses are available through Badminton North Harbour

Can I try before I join?

If you wish to try us out prior to joining you can pay the Casual Rate of $10 per person per night at Senior Club or Junior Club. If you wish to join after this the money paid will be deducted from your membership fee (to a maximum of $30).

What do I need?

You need to ensure that you are wearing either non-marking or white soled shoes. You will also need a racquet but the club should be able to provide one for a couple of nights while you decide to join or not, after that you will need to buy a racquet (which aren't that expensive).
