O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me.
And believe in what I have sent down confirming that which is [already] with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And do not exchange My signs for a small price, and fear [only] Me.
And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].
And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience].
Do you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?
And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]
Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.
O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accept
And [recall] when We saved your forefathers from the people of Pharaoh, who afflicted you with the worst torment, slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
And [recall] when We parted the sea for you and saved you and drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking on.
And [recall] when We made an appointment with Moses for forty nights. Then you took [for worship] the calf after him, while you were wrongdoers.
Then We forgave you after that so perhaps you would be grateful.
And [recall] when We gave Moses the Scripture and criterion that perhaps you would be guided.
And [recall] when Moses said to his people, "O my people, indeed you have wronged yourselves by your taking of the calf [for worship]. So repent to your Creator and kill yourselves. That is best for [all of] you in the sight of your Creator." Then He accepted your repentance; indeed, He is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we will never believe you until we see Allah outright"; so the thunderbolt took you while you were looking on.
Then We revived you after your death that perhaps you would be grateful.
And We shaded you with clouds and sent down to you manna and quails, [saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not - but they were [only] wronging themselves.
And [recall] when We said, "Enter this city and eat from it wherever you will in [ease and] abundance, and enter the gate bowing humbly and say, 'Relieve us of our burdens.' We will [then] forgive your sins for you, and We will increase the doers of good [in goodness and reward]."
But those who wronged changed [those words] to a statement other than that which had been said to them, so We sent down upon those who wronged a punishment from the sky because they were defiantly disobeying.
And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allah, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
And [recall] when you said, "O Moses, we can never endure one [kind of] food. So call upon your Lord to bring forth for us from the earth its green herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions." [Moses] said, "Would you exchange what is better for what is less? Go into [any] settlement and indeed, you will have what you have asked." And they were covered with humiliation and poverty and returned with anger from Allah [upon them]. That was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That was because they disobeyed and were [habitually] transgressing. – The Holy Qur’an 2:40-61
HADITH
Narrated by Abu Wail: Someone said to Osama, “Will you not talk to this (Uthman)?" Osama said: “I talked to him secretly) without being the first man to open an evil door. I will never tell a ruler who rules over two men or more that he is good after I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'A man will be brought and put in Hell (Fire) and he will circumambulate (go around and round) in Hell (Fire) like a donkey of a (flour) grinding mill, and all the people of Hell (Fire) will gather around him and will say to him, O so-and-so! Didn't you use to order others for good and forbid them from evil?' That man will say, 'I used to order others to do good but I myself never used to do it, and I used to forbid others from evil while I myself used to do evil.' " - Shahi Bukhari Vol.9, No. 218.

Our Rob (Allah) said: We have sent you O Muhammad as a Mercy to the Alamin.
And We send not the Messengers except as givers of glad tings and warners. But those who disbelieve, dispute with false arguments, in order to refute the truth thereby. And they treat MY Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs and revelations etc.) and that with which they are warned, as a jest and mockery! Vol.18:56.
And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], not but as a mercy to the ‘Alamin (Mankind, jinn and all that exists). Vol21:107
Surat Al-Masad – 111:
1. Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam and perish he!
2. His wealth and his children will not benefit to him!
3. He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames!
4. And his wife, too who carries wood (thrones of Sa’dan which she used to put on the way of Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi- Sallam, or use to slander him.
5. In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fiber).
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA): When the Verse: - 'And warn your tribe of near kindred.' (26.214) was revealed. Allah's Apostle went out, and when he had ascended As-Safa Mountain, he shouted, "Ya Sabahah!"* The people said, "Who is that?" "Then they gathered around him, whereupon he said, "Do you see? If I inform you that cavalrymen are proceeding up the side of this mountain, will you believe me?" They said, "We have never heard you telling a lie." Then he said, "I am a plain Warner to you of a coming severe punishment." Abu Lahab said, "May you perish! You gathered us only for this reason? “Then Abu Lahab went away. So the "Surat:--ul—LAHAB" ‘be destroyed the hands of Abu Lahab!' (111.1) was revealed. –Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 6, No. 495).
*“Ya Sabahah!” is an Arabic expression used when one appeals for help or draws the attention of others to some danger.”
A. “Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Sallam) and perish him!”
B. “And his wife too, who carries wood.” Mujahid said: ‘Carries the wood’ means that she used to slander (the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam and goes about with calumnies.
C. ‘In her neck is a twisted rope of palm fiber, i.e. the chain which is in the Fiber (of Hell).’–Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 6, 469).
Narrated by Said bin Jubair (RA): “When Sura No. 111. Al-Masad was revealed, the wife of Abu Lahab came looking out for the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam while Abu Bakr (RA) was sitting beside him. Abu Bakr said to the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam: ‘I wish if you get aside (or go away) as she is coming to us, she may harm you’. The Prophet said: ‘There will be a screen set between me and her’. So she didn’t see him Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam. She said to Abu Bakr, ‘Your companion is saying poetry against me’ Abu Bakr said: ‘By Allah he does not say poetry.’ She said: do you believe that? Then she left, Abu Bakr said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger! She didn’t see you’. The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam said: ‘An angel was screening me from her.’ [This Hadith is quoted in Masnad Abu Ya’la]. It is said that if the Verse [(17:45) –
(And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition.-Al-Qur’an 17:45)
The Qur’an] is recited by a real believer (of Islamic Monotheism) he will be screened from a disbeliever. (Allah knows best). (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol.10, No. 269)
The story of the army of the Elephants (the Qur’an 105:1-5).
This incident happened during the period of the birth-year Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam. Abrahah Al-Ashram was the governor of Yemen on behalf of the king of Ethiopia (as Yemen was a part of the Ethiopia kingdom). He (abrahah) thought to build a house (like the Ka’bah at Makkah) in San’a (the capital of Yemen) and call the Arabs to perform the intention of diverting the trade and benefits from Makkah to Yemen. He presented his idea to the king of Ethiopia who agreed to his idea. So the house (church) was built and he named it Al-Qullais’, there was no church of its like at that time. Then a man from the Quraish tribe of Makkah came there and was infuriated by it, so he relieved his nature (stools and urine) in It., soiled its walls and went way. When Abrahah Al-Ashram saw that, he could not control his anger and raised an army to invade Makkah and demolish the Ka’bah. He had in that army thirteen elephants and amongst them was an elephant called Mahmud which was the biggest of them. So that army proceeded and none amongst the Arab tribes that faced them (fought against them) but was killed and defeated, till it approached near Makkah. Then there took place negotiations between Abrahah AlAshram and the chief of Makkah (Abdul Muttalib bin Hashim, the grandfather of the Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam , and it was concluded that Abrahah would restore the camels of Abdul Muttalib which he had taken away, and then he (Abrahah Al-Ashram) would decide himself as regards the Ka’bah. Abdul Muttalib ordered the men of Makkah to evacuate the city and go to the top of the mountain along with their wives and children in case some harm would come to them from the invading oppressors. The army moved towards Makkah till they reached valley Mushassir. While the army was marching towards Makkah, on the middle of the valley, suddenly it was partaken by flocks of birds, flocks after flocks, air-raiding that army with small stones slightly bigger than a lentil seed. There never fell a stones on a solder except it dissolved his flesh and burst it into pieces. So they perished with a total destruction. Abrahah Al-Ashram fled way while his flesh was bursting into pieces till he died on the way (back to Yemen). Such was the victory bestowed by Allah, (the All-Majestic, All-Powerful) to the people of Makkah and such was the protection provided by Him for His House (Ka’bah in Makkah). See Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Surah Al-Fil.

The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam said: "None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children
all mankind." –Shahi Bukhari Vol.1 No. 14.
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA) Said:
The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi-Sallam said: "The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior)
who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the day." Shahi Bukhari Vol.17,No. 625.
In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting (Saum) as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous –
(As-Saum means fasting i.e. not to eat or drink or have legal sexual relations etc. from the Adhan of the Fajr (early morning) prayer till the sunset.)
[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.
The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.
And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided.
It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous.
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful]. – The Holy Qur’an 2:183-188.
(Although all practices of worshipping are for Allah alone. Saum (fasting, because fasting cannot be practiced for the sake of showing-off, as nobody except Allah can know whether one is fasting or not. Therefore, fasting is a pure performance that cannot be blemished with hypocrisy. See Fath Al-Bari, Vol. 5, Page 10) – Source: Al-Qur’an-King-Fahd-Complex.

We should exchange social visits & intensify humanitarian services. Take extraordinarily cautious in using the senses, the mind and, especially, the tongue; exert the utmost in patience and humbleness Increase study of the Qur’an. Some terms to know: means to conclude fasting immediately after sunset by eating or drinking something. We the Muslims all over the world take drinking water or fruits Juice, dates other fruits and any other meal. It is also a Sunnah [tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)] to make Iftar soon after sunset, and it is Makrooh (disliked) to delay in Iftar after sunset without a valid reason. No particular meal is prescribed for Iftar, but it is Sunnah to break the fast with few dates first then eat any other food. Some more terms…Suhoor: Suhoor is the meal one takes early in the morning before sunrise. It can be eaten any time of the night but it is Sunnah to do it close to dawn. Tarawih: is a special night-time prayer carried out only in Ramadan. It is not must but Sunnah. It consists of either 8 or 20 rakats.
Hadith :
Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaid-Ullah: A bedouin with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards the prayers." He replied: "You have to offer perfectly the five compulsory prayers in a day and night (24 hours), unless you want to pray Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Inform me what Allah has made compulsory for me as regards fasting." He replied, "You have to fast during the whole month of Ramadan, unless you want to fast more as Nawafil." The bedouin further asked, "Tell me how much Zakat Allah has enjoined on me." Thus, Allah's Apostle informed him about all the rules (i.e. fundamentals) of Islam. The bedouin then said, "By Him Who has honored you, I will neither perform any Nawafil nor will I decrease what Allah has enjoined on me. Allah's Apostle said, "If he is saying the truth, he will succeed (or he will be granted Paradise)." -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 115
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times." - -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 118
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet was the most generous amongst the people, and he used to be more so in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel visited him, and Gabriel used to meet him on every night of Ramadan till the end of the month. The Prophet used to recite the Holy Qur'an to Gabriel, and when Gabriel met him, he used to be more generous than a fast wind (which causes rain and welfare). - -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 126
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)" - -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 127
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, 'All the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.' Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins. If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relation with his wife and quarreling, and if somebody should fight or quarrel with him, he should say, 'I am fasting.' By Him in Whose Hands my soul is' The unpleasant smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting." - -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 128
Narrated 'Alqama: While I was walking with 'Abdullah he said, "We were in the company of the Prophet and he said, 'He who can afford to marry should marry, because it will help him refrain from looking at other women, and save his private parts from looking at other women, and save his private parts from committing illegal sexual relation; and he who cannot afford to marry is advised to fast, as fasting will diminish his sexual power." --Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 129
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: Allah's Apostle mentioned Ramadan and said, "Do not fast unless you see the crescent (of Ramadan), and do not give up fasting till you see the crescent (of Shawwal), but if the sky is overcast (if you cannot see it), then act on estimation (i.e. count Sha'ban as 30 days)."
- -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 130
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: Allah's Apostle said, "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then complete Sha'ban as thirty days." _ -Shahi Bukhari Vol.3 No. 131
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him." -Shahi Bukhari Vol.8 No. 509
