Awards

The Annual ICCP Tisdale Pharmacy Professionalism Award recognizes an ICCP member who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice. The clinician strives to provide high-quality patient care while optimizing medication therapy and promoting health, wellness, and disease prevention. The recipient should possess in-depth therapeutic knowledge and have extensive experience optimizing patient outcomes. In addition, the clinician demonstrates empathy and caring for patients’ well-being. The clinician promotes clinical pharmacy training and contributes substantially to the generation of new information that advances the profession of pharmacy and the science of medicine.

The award is named in honor of the inaugural winner, Jim Tisdale, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, FAPhA, FAHA in 2009.
