Fall Research Essay Assignment
By November 4th, students will write a 1,000 word research essay building and presenting information on a selected topic and will demonstrate this by correctly using MLA guidelines. The essay will be argumentative in nature and will use ethos, pathos, and logos in building the argument. Complete instructions are on the "Research Assignment Sheet" link below.
The final essay is due to Turnitin.com by 11:59 p.m. on November 4th.
Students must choose a topic from the three given.
- Tattoos and a person’s employment.
- Money and happiness.
- Technology and attention spans.
Students must find two more trustworthy sources in addition to the three research sources that are provided.
Research Assignment Template with Master Works Cited- make a copy of this, edit the heading and header, and take out the sources that do not belong to your topic.
