* IBM Hackday : Hackday is a competition in IBM where employees from all business units submit innovative ideas and based on the novelty involved, the winners are selected by a senior board of judges. Project submitted was titled Smarter Room reservation and provided a deadlock resolution algorithm for an optimized meeting room allocation.

** The goal of the Informatics Olympiad is to identify school students with outstanding skills in algorithms and computer programming. Among all students across India, only about 200 qualified for the National Informatics Olympiad during the years 2004 and 2005 (as can be seen when you click on these links : 2004; 2005)
