Title: Higher derivative action using dilaton Weyl multiplet in four-dimensional N=2 supergravity.
Abstract: In this talk, I will focus on the computational intricacies of building an off-shell higher derivative action in supergravity theory using superconformal tensor calculus. I will mainly be talking about the construction of the action using dilaton Weyl multiplet and exploiting the map between dilaton Weyl multiplet and Yang-Mills multiplet in Poincar\'e supergravity.

Title: Thermodynamics of BPS and near BPS Ads black holes
Abstract: In the talk, I will highlight our recent results on thermodynamics of BPS and near BPS AdS black holes in six dimensions. We will highlight the two distinct deformations orthogonal to the BPS surface: (i) increasing the temperature while keeping the charges fixed, (ii) changing the charges while maintaining extremality such that the BPS constraint is no longer satisfied. For both these deformations, it was shown that the considerations of the BPS entropy function can be extended to describe the near-BPS regime. The excess entropy together with changes in all potentials are perfectly accounted for via the extremization principle. We also study the phase diagram of BPS black holes in the grand canonical ensemble which will be discussed in detail.
