My Activities

As a student of EEE, BUET, I have had the opportunity to participate actively at different activities of my department. This includes organizing of following events:

I also was a team member of EEE section A football team. We have become runner up in a tournament organized in my graduating term. This was one of the most memorable events of my life.

I have interest in learning different languages. I have completed 2 years French language courses in l'Alliance Francaise de Dacca. I enjoyed very much there.

I love watching movies of different languages. This pleases me very much.

I love travelling. I have traveled almost allover Bangladesh. Thanks goes to my father as he is a government employee and he had to work many places in the country. I had traveled Thailand, Japan, India and Nepal. I enjoyed Nepal very much for her scenic beauty. I take pride to state that, all of these overseas travels have been financed by Government of Bangladesh (GoB) and Government of Japan (Japan's travel only). I must admit, without GoB's help, these travels were completely impossible.

As the faculty member of Department of EEE, BUET, I have organized 7^th International Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (ICECE), 2012 (as a technical committee member), 6^th International Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (ICECE), 2010 (as an organizing committee member) and 2^nd EEE Under Graduate Project Workshop (EUProW), 2011 (as an organizing committee member).

I also have been part of update process of some laboratory manuals of the Department of EEE, BUET which are now being used in undergraduate syllabus.

I have represented Bangladesh as as a scholar in 'Invitation Program for Science and Technological Human Resources under the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths Program’ organized by Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) at 2011.

I have awarded different prizes for research paper at ‘2^nd IEEE Student Paper Contest’ and ‘3^rd IEEE Student Paper Contest’ (1^st prize) organized by IEEE ED/SSC Bangladesh Chapter held at Dhaka at 2010 and 2012 respectively.
