March 20th
7.30pm Mathew Lee will introduce us to the unique violin made from 5000 year old fossilised 'bog oak' discovered near Ely. Visually it is stunning - and it sounds pretty good, too! He will be accompanied by Hayley Ogilvie on the piano, and we hope to have a few words from local luthier Philip Taylor who made the violin. The programme will include music by Mozart, Dvorak and Paganini as well as some less well-known composers: all very humm-able!
