Childrens Day Celebration 2015

Children's day was celebrated with gaiety and fervor at Ekalavya School, Bengaluru on 14 November 2015. It was a fun-filled day for the students. The teachers made the day special, as they had a lot of fun-filled activities lined for students. Many of the cultural items were organized and performed by the teachers. So the day had the theme 'With love - from teachers to students'.

The chief Guest for this grand occasion was Mr. Rajeev Kuchhal, one of the major donor for Bangalore school. Mr. Murrali CR, Mr. Murali Rao and Mr. Dinesh Shetty participated in the celebration along with the Chief guest.

The day began with Lighting lamp and paid rich floral tributes to Chacha Nehru. Like every year, this year also Children participated in Winter fest 2015 (Cultural and Sports event) in the school and they received the prizes from chief guest Rajiv Kuchhal and HQ team. Students had come in colorful and glittery dresses and were looking like a swarm of butterflies. The whole assembly was organised and carried out by teachers and presented varieties of programmes likes skit, dance, songs and 'Kavitha's.

The guests who attended the programme gave inspirational speeches to students - highlighting the importance of the day and stressing on the importance of children putting their hard-work in studies too.

Programme began at 10.00 am and concluded at 11.10 am with distribution of chocolates and buns to students. The excitement and enjoyment of the students brought smiles on the faces of teachers and the guests bringing following thought -

"We were all children once.

And we all share the desire for the well being of our children,

which has always been and will continue to be

the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind."
