Independence Day Celebrations(2015)

Independence day is an auspicious occasion for all of us. It is the most important day to all the Indian citizens and is etched in the history. It is the day when we got freedom from the British rule after many years of hard struggle by the great freedom fighters of India. We celebrate Independence day every year on 15th of August to remember all great leaders who have sacrificed their lives for getting freedom for India.

The program began with honoring the chief guest Mr.A.V.S.Prasad, who is ritered manager of Food Corporation of India. He is also an artist who has done 250 stage shows and dramatist in All India Radio channel. He was awarded title 'Nataratna' for his role of 'Duryodhana' in 1987.

There was March past, drill by the students and flag hoisting by the chief guest followed by National Anthem.

A motivating speech was delivered by the chief guest.

IX & X Grade girls sung patriotic song vith vigor. There was beautiful dance depicting enjoyment in nature.

Being in Telangana region, students were excited to sing the wonderful state song “Jai Telangana”.

X class student N.Rajeswari delivered a speech on how we can see UNITY IN DIVERSITY in India.

A Hindi song was sung by class VII students.

One more Telangana song was sung by Shankar and Jayanth of class VII.

There was fantastic performance of dance by class X students.

All the teachers and audience had become nostalgic by the energetic programs presented by the students.

Vote of thanks was given by Ms.Pratibha.

Refreshments were distributed to conclude.
