Haritha Haram program at Ekalavya School, Leninnagar– 11th JULY 2016

Haritha Haram is a Telangana government’s flagship programme that envisages increasing the forest cover in the state. The primary objective of the programme is to increase the approach to rejuvenating degraded forests, ensuring more effective protection of forests against smuggling, encroachment, fire, grazing and intensive soil and moisture conservation measures following the watershed approach.
On 11 July, Leninnagar students planted trees in front of school. Students actively participated and are proud to be part of Haritha haram Program.
Ms. Krishna Kumari and Ms. Madhavi also participated in this event.
