About
I'm a computational materials physicist, working on code and method development for density functional theory and many body perturbation theory calculations, and apply them to study surfaces and interfaces relevant to energy and environmental issues. I received my PhD from Osaka University. After spending sometime in Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research, Osaka University as a postdoc researcher, I joined WPI-Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University as an Assistant Professor, and then National Institute for Materials Science as a Senior Researcher. Currently, I hold an Associate Professor position in Osaka University.
