Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Geohazards and Environment provides an international open forum for researchers and practitioners to publish scholarly and high quality original papers, state-of-the-art reviews and case studies on a wide range of topics relevant to geological and geotechnical hazards, occurring naturally or associated with human activities both on the earth surface and below the ground, and the associated environmental issues.

Topics covered

Papers on real-life case studies, reduction of geohazards damages and protection of infrastructure and the living environment are particularly invited. We also encourage publication of special issues or theme issues with focus on specific themes, regions, topics, events, etc. However, all papers must meet the journal requirements.

Readership

The International Journal of Geohazards and Environment is multiple disciplinary covering a wide range of topics related to geohazards and protection of the earth environment. The content is of great interest to a broad range of readers from academics and researchers to policy makers, management and professionals working in the relevant fields. The journal will help participants disseminate and exchange information from their work and learn from each others cross multiple disciplines.
