  7. Narendra attended "UKIERI-IITB workshop on Goal-directed Future Thinking: Methods and Analysis of EEG and fMRI" organized by IIT Bombay.

  8. Shikha Mishra presented her poster titled 'Computation of syntactic information in the brain.' at Advances in Mathematical & Computational Biology, Ropar, India.

The group members of Language and Cognition Lab, at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Ropar are working mainly in the area of Neurocogntion of Language Comprehension. As Indian languages have not been investigated much from the neurocognitive perspective, in this lab, scholars are working on various aspects of language comprehension namely: Syntactic, Semantic and Pragmatic processing especially on Indian languages.
