Q: Who can participate in the Imagination Fair & Science Expo?
A: Kindergarteners through fifth-graders are welcome to participate.
Q: Where can I get ideas for projects?
A: For project ideas check out the resource page created by our Library Media Specialist Kip Dooley. You can also look on this site for examples of past projects.
Q: What does the ISFE look like this year?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot all be together in person this year for our typical IFSE. We still would like to give every student an opportunity to participate and explore. We will have fun science-related activities at school (and online for EVA) during the week of April 19. Anyone who would like to do a project will have the opportunity to do so. You can do one at home, and either submit a video or photos for feedback.
Q: Are we doing judging this year?
A: Yes, and no. We will not be doing formal judging as we have in the past. However, every student who submits a project will receive feedback comments from at least two adults. Adults, if you are interested in providing feedback to projects, please sign up on the 'Project Review Resources' page.
Q: How do I submit my project?
<---------- Fill out THIS FORM to submit your project!
Q: Can I do a project with a friend?
Unfortunately, we can not do projects with friends as we have in the past. Exceptions include sibling pairs, families who are quarantining together, or those who are willing to practice CDC-recommended protocols while working on the projects. Mask up!
Q: Will I have a chance to look at other people's projects if I am also participating?
Yes. Since all of the projects will be online, you can see other students' projects!
