Split My Check
Have you ever went out to dinner with your friends/family and the waiter/waitress brings you one check?
Have you ever wonder how to fairly split a check when the waiter/waitress brings you one bill?
Have you ever tried to split a check between your friends by taking out a regular calculator, and then just end up scratching your head?
Well.. Welcome to the solution of your problems..
If you and your friends ordered different items and have a difficult time calculating how much each person owes with tax and tips, this app will help you navigate through those situations.
There are two options, Fair Split and Equal Split
The Fair Split option will help you calculate how much you have to pay for the items that you ordered. Including your portion of the tax, and your portion of the tips
The Equal Split option will split the bill evenly amongst all of the participants (no matter how much or how little you ordered)
Fair Split
Choose how many people will pay for the bill
(Optional) Type in the names of the people paying for the bill
(Optional) Enter the Subtotal, Tax, Total, Tip%
Add the items on your bill and enter the prices of each item
Assign each item to a person, or select the item as shared
After all of the items have been assigned, press Calculate
(Warning will show if)
The subtotal of the entered prices does not match the subtotal entered
The subtotal + tax does not equal to the total
The subtotal field is blank
The tax field is blank
The total field is blank
If the warning shows, an option will be presented to calculate anyways or to recheck the fields
On the Calculated Result Page, you will see each person's name and the amount that each person owes without tips and with tips.
Congratulations, you now know how exactly how much each person owes.
