Welcome to the ICGEB Proteomics Resource

This page contains important information about interacting with the ICGEB Proteomics resource. The resource provides mass spectrometry based analysis of biological molecules for scientific investigators from ICGEB Member Countries. ICGEB subsidises much of the cost of the analysis, allowing us to only charge a small fee to cover consumable costs. The Resource provides mass spectrometry support for a wide variety of mass spectrometry based analysis of proteins, peptides, small molecule drugs and a variety of metabolites.

Please contact us even at the earliest planning stages of your work, because we can provide advice on experimental design. A a number of approaches can be used to address your question, including quantitative analyses, such as SILAC or label free approaches. Choosing an efficient approach is often the difference between success and failure, especially with granting agencies and we are happy to provide advice on how best to present your ideas and preliminary finding to funding agencies, including ICGEB.
