1. How do I access the library's databases and other services from outside the library?

2. How do I get into my OPAC account for the first time? How do I change my OPAC account   password?

Go to any networked computer.  Enter your ID No. for user name. My Info will allow a user to see his or her account information.  For this you need to Log in. To Log in as a user, click My Info on the home page. Type the User ID and Password and click Log In. The default password is “MEMBER”. To change your password, click Change Password. Type User ID, Old Password and New Password. Click Change.  

3. I have the author and title of a book and need to find it in the library. Can you show me how to do a basic search?

Go to the OPAC library database. Then click on Browse. Type the "author's last name" in the search box and select this search option from the drop-down menu of the Catalogue Box.  For a title search, enter the title in the search box and select the title search option in the Catalogue Box.

4. How can I find out when a library item is due?                                    

All patrons receive a date due receipt at the time of check out indicating the time and date material is due.  If an item is not returned or renewed by the due date, fines may accrue. The date due for an item is displayed in the OPAC record for the item. 

You can renew any Books that are eligible to be renewed by logging onto your OPAC account.

5. How do I pay a library fine?

Cash may be used at the Account Section. After you paid fine you show your receipt at the circulation desk.

6. Does the library accept donations of materials?

The library welcomes gift of books, journals and other materials suitable for the library collection.
