Welcome to our Website. iCare Pet Crem is a family run business established in January 2011.

If you are visiting our website because you have just lost your beloved pet we are so sorry for your loss. If you are just making plans early then in either case our thoughts are with you in the days ahead. We hope to hear from you soon so that we can discuss your options and we can provide all the advice to help you to decide what to do next. We hope that you will choose iCare to take care of things and let us provide some comfort in knowing that you, your family and your pet are in safe hands.

Pets mean different things to different people, for some a pet is a companion and for others it is like having a child and that's why we want to help you say goodbye to your beloved pet in a dignified manner. For many people including myself, having a pet is so rewarding.. When you come home from work or even just come back from the shops and they let you know how much they have missed you by going crazy or even sulking when we've returned from nipping out for a few minutes - that is unconditional love and a special bond that only us pet owners can understand.

At iCare Pet Crem we are proud to say that we do not collect clinical waste from any veterinary practices along with your pet. Our Business is 100% focussed on individual Pet Collection & Cremation and providing the very best personal caring service across the central belt. Our job at iCare Pet Crem is to provide a dignified and personal service which we hope can help ease the sadness of parting and having to go through this process from start to end.

Our team at iCare: Alex Baxter (Pet Funeral Director), Tania Baxter (Office & Supply Management), Elizabeth Watson (Office Management/Pet Funeral Director), Stephen McInnes (Pet Funeral Director), Alasdair Gray (Pet Funeral Director), Bailey Whiting (Assistant Pet Funeral Director), Katie Boni (Trainee Office Management/Pet Funeral Director), Lesley Knox (Pet Funeral Director).

Alex & Tania have been married for over 30 years and have three Sons, Phillip, Ryan & Dale and two Cocker Spaniels (Millie & Lexi). Alex has worked prior in Manufacturing Electronics for 25 years holding senior roles within Sun & Oracle but decided back in 2010 that he wanted to do something very different, and so in January 2011 iCare Pet Crem was established. Tania has held previous positions across a number of industries, held a management role within BSKYB and has also ran her own business.

Elizabeth joined iCare in July 2021 after completing her HND in Animal Care. Elizabeth enjoys time at home with her family of animals. This includes 2 dogs ( Maliki & Zero), 3 Cats (Aurora, Apollo & Penny) & too many fish to name..

Alasdair joined iCare in June 2023. Alasdair has worked prior in the Human Funeral Industry working for 12 years within the Co-Op Funeral care group. Position's held in Glasgow, Livingston and Dunfermline. Alasdair achieved BTEC Advanced Diploma in Funeral Directing. Alasdair has no pets at the moment spending most of his time golfing when not at work.

Stephen (Steph) joined iCare in September 2023. Steph worked for many years in the banking sector, previously with Lloyds & Sainsburys Banking Group. Steph has held a number of different positions throughout his career including Purchasing and Managemnt roles. Like Alasdair a keen golfer when he's not at work.

Katie joined iCare in October 2023. Katie has worked prior in both the Leisure and Telecoms industry. Katie joins us from EE Livingston to help with the day to day management of our office duties along with training to become a Pet Funeral Director. Katie has 6 pets, Staffie called Cody, 4 DSH cats, Poppy, Lily, Tornado & Ivy, and 1 maine coon called Peri.

Bailey joined iCare in August 2022. Bailey worked previously with West Lothian Council as a Planning Administrator. Bailey enjoys spending time at home with his family and watching Boxing & MMA.

Lesley joined iCare in June 2025. Lesley worked for many years in the NHS. More details to follow......

Bringing your Pet to our premises

If you would like to bring your pet to us please call first to book a time that works for us both as we want to make sure we can look after you from the minute you arrive. We are also often called away and at times the office is closed throughout the day.

Collection of your Pet

We collect personally so there are NO mix ups. We usually can collect within 4 hours if local (this negates the need for a cold storage process at your vets).

Collection Mon - Fri between 6.pm - 9.pm & Weekends may incur additional call out charge, please ask. We offer a prompt collection service within West Lothian, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife, Falkirk & Stirling areas, our collection times may vary outwith these areas.

Owner of iCare since January 2011. Worked prior in Manufacturing Electronics for 25 years holding senior roles with Sun & Oracle.

Elizabeth Watson

Pet Funeral Director. Joined iCare in July 2021 . Worked prior in Manufacturing for 4+ years being promoted to Line Supervisor in her last role. Elizabeth has also completed Animal Care at SRUC, Oatridge Campus.
