Suddenly on Wednesday night we started hearing noise that there was robbery in the area, unknown to us, the robbery was happening in our hostel, a block before mine. My roommates and I started praying...immediately I got covenant of protection in my spirit. I had this peace that we are safe and that was all...the robbery didn't get to my block or to anyone I know in the other block- Seun O.

I was on my way back home from work few days ago in a tricycle when a car suddenly swerved to my lane. In a bid not to hit the vehicle while on a high speed, the tricycle driver left the road completely and we were going to hit a building. But suddenly, in some very close distance from the building the tricycle stopped.
My instinct was telling me to jump out before the tricycle stopped(it may not have been funny if we had hit the building) but the "gentle voice" 😊 told me to stay put. I thank God I obeyed.
The covenant worked for me. Hallelujah- Seun

I devoted one morning to revise our covenant of protection in Psalms 91 as we were taught.
I was awake one night to pray and around 3am I saw a scorpion in my room, I was so terrified as I haven't encountered one before, I started shivering but I kept saying I plead the blood of Jesus, eventually when I summoned courage to kill it, it ran into a hole beside the door I wasn't even aware was there, so I brought out my fleet and emptied the container thinking that will kill it in the hole.
I couldn't sleep back until around 4:30am, I gave thanks to God because I immediately remembered our covenant of protection in Psalms 91 and also your testimony of how you grew up in a house that was surrounded by bushes and your dad woke up with a snake by his side one day but wasn't bitten by the snake.
I thought that was all, because I usually wake up by 5am but I decided to sleep till 6am due to the disturbance. As the alarm rang by 6am and I put it off, immediately the scorpion fell from the ceiling towards my pillow side, I started shivering again and was saying The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are saved, this time around I killed it.
The second thing I want to thank God for is because the experience didn't leave me with fear. When night time came and fear wanted to creep in, I reminded myself that I shouldn't feel safer in the day than I will at night. That's the covenant we carry, glory to God!- Ife O.
