(in force since : July 2016; Revised : September 2017)
The competition is open for all the postgraduate members.
Any postgraduate can submit entries to any of the write-ups- maximum two topics may be selected and shall be forwarded by the HOD. The covering letter can be scanned and attached to the email along with the write-ups. If more than one PG submits from each department, a common covering letter (with the names of the PGs and their topics) will be sufficient.
A faculty can act as a mentor in the preparation and finalizing the write-up; and include his/her name in the write-up.
All the write-ups should be in word format (*.doc or *.docx) ONLY. (And the scanned covering letter should be in pdf format)
They can use Times New Roman / Arial / Calibri fonts - 12 size for inline text and 14 for Headings. The write-up should be limited to 2000 (two thousand) words.
The file name should contain the name of the write up.
They have to mention the references/bibliography at the end ( in text citations are not required).
The copy-paste items from the internet are strictly prohibited, as this is the competition to reflect the comprehension skills as well as the ability to synthesize among the postgraduates.
They may include line diagrams or photographs wherever necessary - they have to cite the source in Bibliography.
