Hyun Jin Moon is a software engineer at Waymo. Before that, he was a software engineer at Google. Before that, he was a research staff member at Data Management Department of NEC Labs. His research interest is in DBMS, data management in the cloud, schema evolution, temporal database, and data integration. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in computer science from UCLA in 2008 and 2004, respectively, and B.S. in EECS from UC Berkeley in 2002.
