My research focuses on large-scale climate dynamics, with a particular emphasis on the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) and its associated climate teleconnections. I am also interested in the dynamics of the Asian summer monsoon and polar sea ice. To better understand these mechanisms, our lab actively employs state-of-the-art climate models, utilizing advanced nudging techniques to modify specific atmospheric variables and sea surface temperatures (SSTs) regionally.
