Associate Professor

Department of Oceanography, Hanyang University

My primary research pursuits center around the examination of climate changes in both the Arctic and Antarctic regions, encompassing the intricate dynamics of tropics-to-Arctic teleconnections. Within this domain, my efforts are dedicated to the simulation and analysis of the prevailing and anticipated climate transformations in these polar environments. Specifically, I place a significant emphasis on unraveling the complexities of sea ice dynamics, aiming to enhance our understanding of the intricate interplay between various climatic factors shaping the future of the Arctic and Antarctic climates.
