Research at TNTL addresses electrical transport properties of nanoscale systems. Two central topics are the spin polarized transport and phase-coherent transport. For further description about research topics, please visit our Research web page and Publications web page.

PhD student wanted --- TNTL has about one opening annually for graduate students. Interested students, who intend to purse PhD program in theoretical condensed matter physics, are encouraged to contact Hyun-Woo Lee

  • Jae-Ho has joined Prof. Ki-Seok Kim's lab starting August, 2014. He will work on Kondo lattice problem there. Though he has left TNTL, he is still at POSTECH Physics building and we can see him whenever we want. Congratulations!

  • Hyowon Park has been selected to a tenure track assistant professor position at the Department of Physics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He will start his position from January 2015. He is also jointly appointed to the Argonne National Laboratory. He was a member of TNTL from 2003 to 2005. Congratulations!
