Exp. High Energy Physics Group at Yonsei University
My name is Hwidong Yoo and I am a faculty at the Physics Department of Yonsei University since 2019 Fall. Previously I worked at Seoul National University between 2014 and 2019. My area of research is experimental particle physics, so-call, High Energy Physics (HEP). Currently my main focus is the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). And in parallel, since 2017 I am leading a project of Dual-Readout Calorimeter R&D for future collider projects (both CEPC in China and FCC-ee in Switzerland) in Korea.
Look for undergraduate internships and graduate students who are interested in our research. Please feel free to contact if interested!
