I'm a HUMSS student .. And yeah HUMSS is very Chill we ONLY deal with Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, and some other Neopagan religions.We're studying different beliefs like its a piece of a GIGANTIC cake. We also deal with Literature of some dead people. Their works are very easy to understand we don't need a dictionary or even google just to summarize their works.
