Course Overview [Comments]
This course is intended to introduce you to microeconomic theory and its application in everyday life. We will study how individual consumers and producers together determine the prices and quantities of goods available in the marketplace. We will investigate the underlying incentives of consumers to buy goods and of firms to produce products that satisfy consumer demand. In addition, we'll look at how government can help or hinder market efficiency.
