To log in to your NETGEAR Router with a web browser:
- Launch a web browser from a device that is connected to your router's network.
- Enter routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
- The netgear router login window displays.
- Enter the router admin user name and password.
- The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified during setup. The user name and password are case-sensitive.

- The BASIC Home screen displays and you need to go through with the instructions given there.

To change your Wi-Fi name or password:
- Connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi network of your Netgear router.
- Launch the Netgear Router app on your mobile device.
- Log into Netgear router by entering the Netgear router login admin password and click on the Netgear Router Login button.
- The Netgear dashboard gets displayed.
- Click on Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi page will get displayed.
- Enter a new Wi-Fi name and create a secure password.
- Tap on the save icon located in the upper-right corner which will save your settings.
