Task 1:
To start of my Project based learning experiment, I created G-mail account that I would use solely for my experiment. After choosing whether to do a science or math project, I emailed my choice of Physics, to my PBL teachers.
Task 2:
I created a Google site account, shared my link with my teachers, and also made them owners of the website.
Task 3:
Today, I actually chose which Physics experiment I would be pursuing. My project's name is Ice Melting blocks, and it is a Level II experiment.
Task 4:
I created my background research power point today. I checked my materials, and listed the ones we were missing that we have to order it.
Task 5:
In this task, I chose the ELA component of my project. I will be recording my progress in this online Journal which will then be graded my ELA teacher.
Task 6:
In this task, I chose the Social Studies connection that I would be making to my experiment. I chose to history on the biography of the man who created the concept of Thermal Conductivity, which the scientific principle for my project.
Task 7:
In this step, I created two pages on my website for my Social Studies and English Language Art components.
Task 8& 9:
In this task, I created my About My School page.
Task 10 & 11:
I created a new page labeled, My PBL project and took pictures of my materials. I did my experiment, and then
answered some Investigation questions.
Task 12:
I finished the investigation page of my project by answering the questions on my handout and attached it to my website.
Task 13:
I posted my ELA component to my website.
Task 14:
I posted my Social Studies component to my website.
Task 15& 16:
I wrote my script and recorded a demonstration video of me doing my project.
Task 17:
In this task, I designed my brochure.
Task 18:
I participated in the Stem Festival and present my project.
Task 19:
I recorded the explanation of my ELA and SS components.
Task 20:
I sent my completed video to all three of my teachers.
