INTRODUCTION

Inertia is Newton's first law which states that an object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion. Inertia can also be described as the resistance an object has to a chance in its state of motion or rest.

Inertia is everywhere you look!for example, everyday you drive in a car with a smooth ride. One day when you press the brakes on the car too late you'll notice that your body moves forward even though the car is stopped. Why does this happen? Inertia! Your body was still in motion even though the car wasn't.
