Today I got to finally play with my materials! The bicycle wheel was interesting, and the friction less stool was also cool. In the next few days, I will do research on the principles and concepts of these materials.

After a few days of research I discovered some basic principles of the Bicycle Wheel Gyro. It uses angular momentum which is the quantity of rotation of a body, which is the product of its moment of inertia and its angular velocity. In later weeks I will finish my website as well as figure out demonstrations that I can do with the Bicycle Wheel Gyro.

By watching many videos that demonstrate my project. I have chosen the demonstrations that I want to do. Before I record my demonstration I will make a script, with information that is needed.

I added some more things to my website. I added a couple of pictures as well as more information about my project.

After a few weeks of hard work, I have completed my social studies connection. Jean Bernard Leon Foucault, the creator of the gyroscope, has done a lot more than just making the gyroscope. He did experiments that measured the speed of light, and the Foucault test. More progress is yet to come.

The wheel looks a lot lighter than it actually is, especially with the added weight to it. The added weight makes the wheel spin my body even faster when I am on the stool. These weights make the wheel a lot better in my opinion.

After demonstrating angular momentum through the Bicycle Wheel Gyro at my school's STEM festival, I decided it was time to shoot my video. I have the script filled out and ready to go, and after the video I will update my website, and finally finish this project.

I have finally uploaded my video to YouTube as well as my website. After ten hard hours of shooting and editing my video, I am finally finished with this project. It amazed me how much the gyroscope is used in life. I hope that I am able to pick a project that deals with gyroscope next year, because this really interested me. Thank you for reading.
