Brief Explanation
Have you ever been between two mirrors that are parallel or face each other? Maybe at a beauty salon or barber shop you have seen a seemingly never ending line of images that begin fading into the distance. Well that is what is called infinity mirrors. It is a never ending amount of images of an object due to two mirrors being parallel to each other.

Physics Behind Infinity Mirrors
When the two mirrors are aligned at a 0-degree angle with each other, there are an infinite number of images. Each image is the result of an image of an image and so on.The diagram below shows the multiple images for a parallel mirror system. Images I1and I2 are primary images. Image I1 is the image resulting from the reflection of the object O across mirror M1 and image I2 is the image resulting from the reflection of the object O across mirror M2. Image I3 is an image of image I1, found by reflecting image I1 across mirror M2. Image I4 is an image of image I2; found by reflecting image I2across mirror M1. This process could continue indefinitely, producing images of images for an infinite number of images. Shown in the picture to the right. -------->
1. Take the storage bin and drill a hole on the width side (Approximately 12 inches).
2. Next take one of the mirrors and begin to take shave off a small circle of the silver backing.
3. When you have your small circle make sure to look through to make sure its clear.
4. After, insert the mirror into the storage bin and make sure the hole you drilled matches with the small circle made on the mirror.
5. On the opposite side insert the second mirror.
6. Make sure both mirrors are parallel to each other.
7. Put a cardboard (in case) between the bin and the mirror and hold it down with scotch tape to make the mirrors parallel to each other.
8. On the side that is parallel to the mirror, insert a small light. This will help you see inside the box.
9. Put a small toy in the bin farthest from the mirror you are supposed to look through.
10. Next you should look through the small hole on the outside of the bin to make sure you could see the reflection of the toy in a never ending beam.
11. If you cannot see the toy right make the corrections to the alignment of the mirrors and the toy.
