Hi, my name is Brandon. My PBL project is titled Groan Tubes. The Groan Tube is a long tube along with an inner tube in it. When you quickly turn the tube over, the inner tube starts sliding down. As gravity acts on the inner tube, the potential energy that the tube had when it was at the top of the tube turns into kinetic and sound energy.

Why does the tube make noise when sliding down the tube? How?
