• NODE: This part of the wave is were no movement is experienced. An example can be a string. When the string is vibrated with a fixed end, the node is the part where it looks stiff.

Materials

• 1. Mechanical Wave Driver

  2. 2 Banana Plug cords

  3. Silica Sand

PROCEDURE:

• 1. Instal the wave generator with the Chaldni Plates. This is amazing thing is no magic.

  2. Disperse the plates with the silica sand. collected in the nodes of the wave (sound wave). By changing the frequency of generator, different frequencies.

  3. You can save the resonating frequencies with the plate, by presing on the up and down button on the right top.

  4. With variety of the frequencies, watch the amazing patterns.
