lactic Acid Fermentation -Making Yogurt

The purpose of my Demo is to explain what happen throughout the process of "Lactic Acid Fermentation" Wich is:

biological process by which glucose, fructose, and sucrose are converted into cellular energy and the metabolite lactate. It is an anaerobic fermentation reaction that occurs in some bacteria and animal cells, such as muscle cells. If oxygen is present in the cell, many organisms will bypass fermentation and undergo cellular respiration; however, facultative anaerobic organisms will both ferment and undergo respiration in the presence of oxygen. Lactate dehydrogenase catalyzes the interconversion of pyruvate and lactate with concomitant interconversion of NADH and NAD.

You will Need: Materials

!) Container With Lid

2) Yogurt

3) Milk

4) Sause pan

5) Heat Source

Now that you've got the materials to do the experiment let us start...

Procedure :You will start by pouring the Milk into the sauce pan and put it over the heat source

then leave it till it boils, When it boils pour it into the container...

Then let it to cool down to room temperature...

After it cools down room temperature, Add two tablespoons of yogurt...

Then Stir very well, Or else it won't Start The Fermentation...

Then cover the container with a towel or something...

After you Cover it you need to put the container somewhere warm, so i chose the Microwave...

Come after 6-8 hours and take it out, And you just made your self some yogurt, Enjoy...
