Vacuum pump
Our project is the vacuum pump that lower the atmospheric pressure inside the glass jar so that the room temperature water can boil.
MATERIALS

INTRODUCTION
Our project is the amazing vacuum pump! it can boil water deprived of heat and could be a new and innovative way of producing clean water for many of the
PROCEDURE
1.
Add water to the glass cup or measuring glass cup
2.
Put the glass cup inside the bell jar and close the jar
3.
Turn on the vacuum and watch the water boil.
**CAUTION**
DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THE JAR WHILE THE VACUUM IS ON
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Boiling is the spontaneous change of water from the liquid phase to the gas phase.
However, as is true for all materials, temperature is not the only parameter that determines the phase; there is also pressure that affects its phase.
Thus, every material has a phase diagram, with temperature and pressure as its coordinates.
